This Saturday, June 2nd from 10 am to 4 pm plan on going to the Art Fest on Market Street in Downtown Minerva.  Artists, Woodturners, Entertainment and good food is on the agenda.  No charge.

A group of very clever people created Canton Food Tours that is sure to be a winning combination.  They have combined a wide variety of food tastings and unique arts and historical stops along the way.  The schedules are convenient and are available for two people or groups with no more than 12 people altogether.

The Stonehouse Tavern is the newest restaurant to reside at Bluebird Farm in Carrollton, Ohio.  They specialize in traditional comfort foods cooked fresh daily.  Dining areas include a glass enclosed porch that provides a scenic view of the farm's beautiful surroundings.  There is also an outdoor deck overlooking a waterfall cascading down the hillside.  The tavern serves a variety of Ohio wines, beer and spirits.

Be sure to take the time to visit the Toy and Doll Museum featuring over 3,000 items located on the Bluebird Farm property.

This is located about 15 minutes from Whispering Pines Bed & Breakfast in beautiful Carroll County.

Innsitter at Whispering Pines Bed & Breakfast in Dellroy, Ohio

I wanted to share a picture of Barb & Bob, our Innsitters.  Bill and I have gone on a few vacations and they have taken our place when we were not able to be at the Bed & Breakfast.

Bob has a culinary background and loves to make breakfast for everyone.  His presentations are excellent as well.  They have enjoyed meeting everyone and you will enjoy them as well.

They will be staying for a few days in June and then hopefully in the fall at some point. 

On my next post I'll have some photos of the breakfast they prepared.

The 2012 season of the longest running outdoor theatre production begins Junes 15th, 2012.  If you haven't seen Trumpet in the Land or The White Savage, include that in your next trip to the Atwood Lake area.  Visit their website to read the story of both.  The play is at the Schoenbrunn Amphitheatre in New Philadelphia, Ohio and is about a 30 minute drive from Whispering Pines Bed & Breakfast.
